I'm not a dietitian or an Exercise expert but I'm young and i like to stay healthy, Have you tried many things ? you Can only tell if you've tried a couple options. I'm not fat but i have shed a few pounds here And there and i think the best way is to have a healthy low fat diet and plenty of action (exercise) you dont have to go out of your way. For instance i dance or jump around to loud music and it makes me feel so much better if i feel groggy. The best results iv ed had were when i tried a "No carb, No Sweets, No fast food diet" followed by 20 Min's of Pilate's everyday. i used a simple Pilate's video and its very relaxing. Its not meant to loose weight but to tone and give you lean muscles ! its very therapeutic and non strenuous. try it it should make you feel sooooo much better ! i promise. Hope everything works out for you. Xx

I have to be honest here. I don't think yoga will help you loose weight. It's great for clearing your mind, stretching out your body, and getting limber but there's not enough components of cardio or strength training to burn a sufficient amount of fat. I would reduce your calories and fat intake. Eat only real, healthy foods (try to shop on the outside perimeter of the grocery store - produce, low fat dairy, lean meat, whole grains). Drink plenty of water, and get a balance of cardio and strength training. Try to workout daily. Yoga is an excellent way to unwind after a cardio workout.

You can do what I do...the water diet! I am a gymnast, so keeping weight down is important! What you do is drink 8 ounces of water before you eat, 8 ounces while you eat, and 8 ounces after you eat, that way, you are full on water, and not food. You also get the required amount of water you body needs every day to stay hydrated. You must do this EVERY meal. You may think I'm nuts (i thought that the person who told me was) but if you do it for a week like I did, my body CRAVED the water, and now I cannot eat anything without drinking alot of water with it!

Eat right and exercise seems to work for most people. Yoga and pranayama is great for Self-realization and the experience of union with the divine Self that exists within us all. Umm....eat right and exercise.

Take this all easy, but it requires life change. Eat 4- to 6 small meals a day ranging in 1000-1500 total calories for the day. Get active---yes---get active. I have workout most of my life, but a now for the last 8 years practice Yoga, at least 3 times a week. I still weight lift, I like my lifting, but you have to find out what in the end you like. I'm a trainer, so you have to get to it with someone like me or have the drive to do it yourself.

You didnt specify if you wanted the best way to loose - so I say just dont eat. (at least - dont eat as much) and get plenty of exercise. You just have to make sure your caloric intake is equal to or less than the amount of exercise you do.
