I dont smoke, I dont coffee alot, and I brush my teeth, but I dont know why their still yellowish. I've used whitening products, but they dont seem to help. The only time my teeth seem to be really white, is after I go to the dentist for a cleaning, and I cant always do that. People comment me on my yellowish teeth, and I try and tell them that I do brush, but they just think im nasty and dont do anything....HELP

The best thing that I have found to whiten yellowed teeth is to rinse your mouth with a capful of peroxide twice a day for about 10 minutes each time then brush your teeth...

Discolored teeth is not a sign of a disorder. Teeth can become discolored by certain medication, by too much smoking and occasionally by too much brushing, which can wear away the enamel in some parts of the tooth exposing the yellow dentine underneath.
Therefore, because treatment depends on mainly on the type of stain, e.g. yellow-brown to dark brown stains you should discuss this matter with your Dentist. He can give you better advice, especially if there is a Hereditary condition which can also result in a deposition of colored materials in the teeth.
It is not easy to say what treatment will prevent you teeth form staining, but it may benefit you to continually using whitening or bleaching methods, recomended by your Dentist. It may also help to evaluate the foods you eat that develops color from chemical reactions occurring in the plaque and does not necessarily imply anything about the color of the food
itself.
Hope this answers your question!

Do you drink fruit juice, soft drinks, wine, or tea? They can ALL stain your teeth and make them more "yellow." Cut back on those things if you can. Here's another list of things you can do to whiten your teeth, from least expensive to most expensive: (1) Brush with a toothpaste that has baking soda and peroxide in it -- they are two of the most effective whiteners around. (2) Try Rembrandt toothpastes -- they can whiten your teeth anywhere from two to five shades, but it usually takes six months of daily use for your teeth to get that white. (3) Use Crest whitening strips -- my brother-in-law had very good luck with the Premium white strips. (4) Have your dentist make molds of your teeth so you can have custom-fitting "trays" and use peroxide gel -- you can get the better grade from your dentist, but you can also get Rembrandt peroxide gel for less money and it's not that much lower in peroxide concentration. (5) Get a high-tech whitening treatment from your dentist which involves the use of a LASER -- pretty pricey, but lasts for a long time. (6) If you're one of those unlucky people who have teeth that just will not come white no matter what you do, the only alternative after that is cosmetic dentistry (caps), and they're VERY expensive -- starting around $500.00 per tooth.

You can get your teeth whitened at the dentist. It'll cost $200 or so but it'll last for a year. It's instant and whitens your teeth many shades whiter than any over the counter product is capable of. Just brush your teeth with regular whitening toothpaste after and it should last awhile.

Ask your dentist about the whitening procedure, if you are looking for something a little less pricy you can try an at-home whitening kit from Crest ( a great christmas present). Remember to brush at least twice a day with (I suggest) a whitening tooth paste

Tooth discolouration is caused by food also, not only coffee or smoking. Of course, you can't avoiding eating. You can brush more often.
I dunno what type of whitening products you used, I guess you used whitening tooth pastes, most of which don't work. Yet,
I know most of bleaching products work. (Sorry I cannot recommend a specific type in public)
the answer is,
1- you can do professional vital bleaching in the dental office which is safer but more expensive.
2- you can use a cheaper home bleaching and make sure you use those with a custom designed trays so that the bleaching material doesn't touch the gums. You can make those in any dental office and lab, then wear them everyday til you get the desired shade. Newly releases bleaching strips seem to work too.
You may experience sensitivity. Consult your dentist or post another Q here if you do ;)

They best thing for you to do would be to visit you local dentist and tell them what you are after telling us. They will give you a lot of options
You could get your teeth whiten by laser whiting
Or you could get them bleach
Or you could get you dentist to give them a scrub. And it is done by a tooth. Not with a tooth brush. And it takes off the yellow stains but you teeth will be still yellow but after a 1 month you teeth will have got whiter. And it would be the cheeps from out of this entire list.

You may want to try brushing with a whitening toothpaste, and using the Listerine Whitening Mouthwash. I've always used a whitening toothpaste, and I've been using the Whitening mouthwash since it came out, and I love the results.

Pay no attention to those nasty people / Are they perfect in weight or obese, do they get yearly MD check ups.
Their mouths are nasty for making comments. I would keep away from those kind of shallow people.
It must be wonderful to be perfect in every way. They are just plain ignorant. Ask them to help pay for teeth whitening for you and see how many will offer.

Ask your dentist about a whitening procedure other than a regular cleaning.
