if you celebrate Christmas in December-tell him to get you a gift then. if you celebrate Christmas as Eid-collect your gift. flat line, tell him you want your gift on Christmas Day and anyother day would be unacceptable.

Politely ask him why he asked you what you wanted for Eid and not Christmas, since that is the holiday you celebrate.

Do you give him a gift on Eid or on Christmas? If you give him a gift on Christmas, he might feel a little offended since he doesn't celebrate that holiday.

Perhaps, you should spend Christmas with your family and spend Eid with your boyfriend... afterall, relationships are about compromise.

**Remember** if he doesn't respect the holiday you celebrate, he doesn't respect you!

Respect his beliefs and request that he respect yours. If you celebrate Christmas give him a gift on Christmas. If he celebrates Ramadan and The Eid be happy to accept a gift from him on his holiday.

If he is not Christian it's logical that he doesn't celebrate it so accept his Eid gift and try giving him a gift for christmas, this way you can share both cultures.

Tell him what you want. You may also want to open a religious conversation with him. If you plan on spending the rest of your life with him it would be good to have a full understanding and respect for one another's beliefs.

tell him what you want

If he doesn't celebrate Christmas and this is a problem for you, you had better work it out now before it becomes a real sticking point later.

Well is your boyfriend muslim? Do you know his religion? Because the day doesn't matter for giftgiving, x-mas or other, the thought counts.
