so lets see if I got this straight. When they are dating and courting they want the wild and crazy guy type. Then when they marry that same guy, they want him to completely change and not be "bad" and be Mr Nice Guy? and that is logical? and meanwhile us nice guys get left with the scraps and dogs? Huh, I see.

I think more than anything, well, we like the IDEA of a bad, wild and crazy fun guy. Someone who makes you feel young and wreckless. But what we really want is a strong, solid dependable guy. And it's her fault for not knowing the difference. People should learn that you are who you are, and you're not likely to change.

After they marry they want someone who is dependable and responsible. They have the misconception that they can change the basic person or that the "bad guy" will mature. When it doesn't happen, women get upset and wonder where all the "nice guys" are.

I have found that having a "wild" or charismatic personality works to attract people, but most would suggest that a marriage is a place for "security", and that the wild behaviour is immature or used to attract attention from others outside of the marriage (as in "you're doing it because you want a fling")

opposites attract sometimes, and yes, some girls like the 'wild bad boys'
but to marry, they actually want the good guys because good guys can provide and make good families
girls just screw up and marry the bad ones (usually for bad reasons)

Because they are dumb!
There is a time to be a "bad" boy, it is called high school. When you graduate, you should also hang up your bad boy routine. If we as girls are dumb enough to date someone that hasnt grown past high school we have no right to complain when we are stuck with it.

They like the danger and excitement they bring...but they don't realize (even though they keep learning it over and over) that those guys are all the same and will all end up hurting them in the long run!
