I believe an evolution to a certain extent.
Here's an example that will help:
Let's say there are a million people and a disease comes along that will wipe everyone out. But there is a male and a female that have a mutated chromosome that allows their immune system to fight the disease. So now we have two people left. They reproduce and there kids have that mutated chromosome to fight that disease. Guess what just took place? They evolved to be able to withstand the disease.
Now that is more adaptation than evolution but you get the point.
Evolution has flaws and it probably won't be perfected for a while. But common ancestors and the fact that all vertabrates have the same skeletal structure speaks volumes. And what you said about the monkeys has been a problem with evolution for a long time. If species are evolving why don't they stay evolved right? I'm sure it will be proven someday though.

Well, you don't seem to know much about evolution. Man did not come from monkeys. A monkey did not one day give birth do a human being and then mankind was on its way. Millions of years ago, there was a creature. Kind of like a monkey but not all the way. Small, bipedal, probably omnivorous. What happened is that thru the millions of years, the offspring of this creature and those offspring and so on and so forth evolved. Some evolved into monkeys and some into humans. This is an over simplified explanation but it is short.
That is why there are humans and monkeys together. Science can show how humans and monkeys share an ancestor. Comparative anatomy alone shows that man and monkey are almost the same. Fossil evidence can show a progression of mankind thru the eons. DNA is also opening up some windows into this process.

Yes, evolution doesn't have to do anything w/religion, it's just how things are, whether you believe in it or not it's there. Evolution takes thousands of years to see a dramatic change. But little by little things change. Just look at the dinosaurs, if evolution didn't happen they will still be roaming the earth (do you seriously believe they were all extinct). Perfect example: us. Our brain evolves, look how far we've gone, specially in technology. It be naive not to realize it. About the monkeys, they are the closest match to our DNA. But we weren't just born out of the blue from them. If for some reason we happen to be from the same family as apes, what might have happened is : You know how apes have their little "clans" (they seperate into groups) well, that's what i believed happened, this group seperated into this group ant that one into that, and some how in the process one group started changing cause of what and how they do somethings, and how they eat, remeber what you eat it's how your are. (and I'm not says it's a matter of days), so the traditional group stayed the same, and the "rebels" (in other words the ones that changed their ways) were the ones that evolved. Well, that's my way of thinking.

It is the ONLY thing that matches the fossils
AND WE DIDN'T COME FROM MONKEYS. Sorry, that REALLY irritates me because I honestly can't see how you could say that if you had 8th grade science. Evolution branches off, and doesn't necessarily destroy the older species. If it did, there would only be one species and it would have to be a plant.
What we did come from is this: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2006/09/060920-lucys-baby.html
Any valid theory has to explain the fossil record as a whole and has to explain the existence of fossils like this one as well as all the other hominid fossils-
* Australopithecines
* Homo habilis
* Homo erectus
* Java Man
* Peking Man
* Piltdown Man
* Nebraska Man
* Orce Man
* The Neanderthals
Sorry but the evidence is just inconsistent with Creationism unless you can tell me how all that fits. I mean they are there, no one made them up. And just ignoring them isn't going to make them go away.

Evolution is a fact. The Theory of Evolution is only a theory. That humans evolved from lesser life forms is considered a fact by all reputable scientists. The exact steps of the evolutionary process are the only things debated. Xians have spread lies about this excessively. "Christian Science" is an oxymoron. Even the Vatican recognizes evolution as fact. The fundies think the Catholics are going to hell anyway.
The theory(ies) of evolution does not state that humans evolved from monkeys. It states that monkeys and humans evolved from a shared forefather. Xian fundamentalists seem to love spreading this little bit of misinformation while sitting on their tailbones. Where did that little ole tailbone come from, anyhow? Probably from the same place that the fundies think all these "fake fossils" came from.

humans did NOT evolve from monkeys and other primates. We simply share a common ancestor. The fact that its called a theory is misleading as well. In the scientific sense, the term theory means A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted. It doesnt mean that it is untrue or hasnt been proven. Simple things like deviations in the Galopogas Tortoises development, the remnants of hip bones in whales and the discoveries of feathered dinosaurs help prove evolution as well.
Look up the term Homology as well...that might help answer some more of your questions.

I accept Evolutionary Theory on the evidence given.
Also, your rejection is based on a misunderstanding of what Evolution states.
All the monkeys and great apes we see today are just as evolved as we are.
These species (humans and several brnaches of great apes) splintered off as different species from an ancestral species.
That species is no longer in existence today.
I should also note that ancestral species don't have to disappear in Evolutionary Theory, so long as the splintering of one species population into multiple species allows for the original population to thrive with little change.

I "believe" in evolution just as much as I "believe" in gravity. It's not a faith-based thing. Your question indicates a serious lack of understanding of evolution. Saying we evolved from apes does NOT mean that a monkey up and gave birth to a human one day. Modern evolutionary theory says that chimpanzees and humans share a common ancestor--from that common ancestor, both modern chimps and modern humans evolved in separate lineages. Just like you and your cousins come from the same set of grandparents, we and chimps are like distant cousins that can be traced to a common ancestor from a long time ago. Evolution is not a ladder--it's a branching tree.

I do believe in the evolution theory. Scientists did some study on some birds and they discovered that those particular birds evolved to adapt to their new food source. Over time their beak changes to be able to crack bigger and tougher nuts.

Evolution is the theory that genetic mutations over millions of years tend to move species of animals away from common ancestors, and towards a more advantageous niche in the eco-system. It is directed only by natural forces, and does NOT predict humans as a logical outcome.
Monkeys are NOT our ancestors under the theory. They are our genetic "cousins." Millions of years ago, under the theory, we shared a common "parent creature" who had multiple offspring. The offspring were separated by geographical distance, and some developed longer, prehensil tails (over millions of years) while others lost their tails, started walking around, and then put their cousins in zoos.
Each branch of the evolutionairy tree was taken in response to environmental factors, and was a totally random event. "Humanity" is not the purpose of evolution, but an accidental outcome.
That's how it makes sense. It is also completely unproveable, as it cannot be observed, nor can it be "reproduced." It is, and always will be in the foreseeable future, a THEORY.
