Christians are dumb because they base their belief on faith, which means, be stupid and don't question anything you're told. The church has to say that because otherwise, the Bible becomes a crock, with many inconsistencies and many things that simply do not make sense.

Um...True Christians--by definition--follow the teachings and examples set forth by Christ. Christ didn't descriminate--He showed love, understanding and forgiveness--to the prostitute at the well, to the lepers, to the afflicted, even to those that were crucifying him. Your inane generalizations of lumping all individuals into your petty little categories demonstrates your glaring ignorance to that which you so vapidly bray.

True Christians were mostly people who questioned their faith and started studying the Bible. They have gained the truth as the bible has promised...

“If YOU remain in my word, YOU are really my disciples, 32 and YOU will know the truth, and the truth will set YOU free.” John 8:31

“This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.” (John 17:3)

Faith is not a mysterious thing nor God is. If a person cannot define his faith and the god he worships, it is useless at all. To put God behind a mystery is blinding the minds of believers.

As for what you are saying, of people who believes their church leaders without researching the Bible if what they say is true, that would be Christendom not Christianity.

What parts of the Bible are inconsistent? You must have read all of it to know. You also must understand it to know. Stupidity is closing your mind to the possible existence of things you do not see, so therefore, must not be. Stupidity is not acknowledging miracles, the positive results of faith. Stupidity is not acknowledging that even science has its limits, things it cannot explain and has to turn back to God. Stupidity is not exploring yourself as a human being beyond the obvious. Not developing your spirit and assuming that because you have chosen to ignore it, it isnt there. Stupidity is not accepting Christ and all the advantages that come with it, even if its just eternal life.

Some christians are dumb ....for the very reason you put forth.
However, their leader (Jesus) does not agree with blind faith.
Romans 10:17 says "faith follows the thing heard."
Please note faith does not come first.
First, you've got to hear the point, study it, ponder over it, prove it to yourself, dwell on it ....and then faith will follow.
So, you seem to have a choice between those who misconstrue what Jesus teaches, or accept that Jesus never wanted blind faith.

Calling christians or anyone "dumb" or "stupid" for any reason and for the very reason you are basing your 'opnion" on one's faith is absolutley proposterous. Everyone singe one of us has the right to choose what we want to believe and respecting others right is not only respectful but also one above you.

God Bless you and I hope that you find the "truth".

Well actually Christians have every right and free will to question and study into a certain topic for either for themselves or to help someone else.

ALL people who believe in anything are not only dumb but stupid. 'Belief' has nothing to do with 'experience' at all.
Until you experience Your Self you can not know God/Source.

the bible doesn't have any inconsistencies, if so please mail them to me. houseoffun5@yahoo.com

I don't think you can find some.
Christianity doesn't teach to not question, in fact that's how we learn is by questioning. We are not told to just blindly follow.
Even Paul who is considered the greatest apostle had his writings challenged daily by people who tested his words to see if they were accurate.

I would say its true for all religions. If one starts to question and make sense of it it WILL create a disbelief!!
