will you practice that with the terrorists
terrorists are head chopper
you only have a head,if you are beheaded by head choppers, you can't have another head
will you practice what jesus taught you?
i don't think jesus wanted that
in some species of lizard, their tails can be detached, the tails will grow back again
if you have this ability-that your head can be detached and another head are gonna grow back on your neck-then your god will have no problem with "turn the other cheek"

One of the more misinterpreted issues in Christianity is just what exactly does "turn the other cheek" imply.

Some say that it is an admonition to allow somebody with a grudge against you to abuse you.

However, in the context of the original translations the meaning is more of a "keep your unwanted opinions to yourself" nature, i.e., if you intrude into a situation where you have not been invited you should not only accept the consequences of that action but offer further atonement as well.

Therefore, God does not require Christan's to be second class citizens. If you are struck for no reason it is quite permissible to defend yourself to the best of your abilities. You are not supposed to "turn the other cheek" to terrorists for any reason.

Indeed, the commandment "Thou shalt not kill" means that you cannot commit criminal homicide. However, if you are in defense of yourself, your country, or others killing may be justified.

I think that terrorists would qualify for a good smite with something lethal should the need arise.

Turning the other cheek might be considered an 'advanced' technique, meant to be developed, not turned on or off like a switch. Assuming you follow the tenents, Christianity is the process by which you develop unconditional love and forgiveness, even to the point of being able to 'turn the cheek' to any offense given you.

One can do this only by developing a lack of fear, even unto death. When one is unafraid, one's actions are freed from inhibition, and such 'courage' cannot be altered by any event, even death.

Dying for ones faith is one thing. Sitting back and
watching people get murdered, thinking one is pious,
is cowardice.
The Word says there is a time and place for everything.
A time to kill and a time to heal. A time for peace, and a
time for war.
And Jesus said "There is no greater Love, than to give
ones life for another."
The Spiritual Warrior knows when to fight. But once
he's made his point. He knows how to put an end to
the fighting!

I guess you have really no idea what that scripture means so your making stuff up.

It means to be like Christ. When He was crucified He didn't even so much as raise His voice let alone His hand.

Now if someone were to break into my house and attempt to kill my daughter, My hand would not rest until his breathing stopped.

But if I'm spreading the gospel and someone jumps on me, then I would not fight back.

Jesus taught that you should strive for peace but he never taught that you had to become a victim if someone trys to take unfair advantage of you because of it.
You have every right to open a can of whoopass if it is necessary to do so.

When did Jesus say that?
Who was he talking to?
What was he telling them?
Why was he telling them this?
What was he saying about "turning the other cheek"?
Its called context-understand it, and then you understand the passage. No understanding, no comprehension.
