He and I have only been friends for 3 months and i'm ready to end the friendship because I think he's just interested in my car and the fact that I work two jobs. He's unemployed and goes to the same college as me. He claims that he is a senior but all i know is that he's been in school for a while. What do you think?

i think you should just be a friend, not his 'gofer' or anything...

if you don't want to give him money, tell him that you don't have any to spare, you work two jobs to be able to goto school without to much debt. or you can just say that you don't give loans to friends, because it ruines friendships...

as to giving him a ride, tell him your busy or something...

you'll find out very (and i mean VERY) quickly if he really wants to be your friend, or if he's using you...

No he is just a guy needing loans and a ride. He may also be what we call a leech. Someone that's just around to get what they can from you. This is different from a manipulator which uses trickery to get what they want as it relates to emotional and not so much as money. Stop giving him rides and money and see what happens and introduce him to the world of work. Sometimes it takes a kick in the pants from a woman for a man to get his a$$ into gear.

He is 27, unemployed and still in college - definately going nowhere. Can you say MOOCHER? Don't give him anything else. If he wants a ride it's OK only if you are going there too. He should cough up 1/2 the cost up front though. No free rides any more.

I think I'd lose that 'new friend' before he depletes all of your resources. Chances are good that he's exhausted everyone else's resources e.g. family. I doubt you'd hang in there if this were a new girlfriend. Let the guy learn independence and how to take care of himself. Avoid his calls and dodge that loser!! good luck

He is a scrub hiding behind books. He should find his own job instead of finding people to mooch off of.

Save yourself from being used anymore and cut him out of your life like a Christmas Fruitcake!!

I say find FREE things to do and by FREE I mean you NOT paying!! Am old fashion and believe a guy should pay for EVERYTHING so I would not be dating him. And 27 man...that is a whole other story!!

Run awaaaaaaaaaayyyyy! He's a moocher... and he's just in the 'friendship' for what he can get out of it.

Consider whether or not he's done anything for you... is it give and take, or is it just take?
