If God is the all knowing, all seeing, everlasting light and the origin of mankind, why can't he speak English?
I think that God (however you identify with IT/HIM/HER/THEM) speaks to us all the time. I think the thing that divides humanity is the way in which we interpret him. Can God be a Objective Being(s) or Force (s) that is subject to interpretation by Subjective human beings? If yes, thumbs up. If No, thumbs down.
In your reply, tell me if you identify with God as a being/conscious entity or a force that has no human attributes. If you have a novel idea of what God is, I'd love to hear it.

it's seem to me that many of you had made assumptions. I am neither a Christian nor do I identify with any religious label out there except one. Can you guess what it is?

Some people say God is just an idea; each human being creates and views him in her/his own way. Okay to analyse that started long time ago that strange things began to happen and everyone did know what was really taking place; so culture, tradition, race started calling that as god. So whenever something strange happened they called it god; but otherwise god was just an idea - it was just thought of but not reality. This belief grew and expand all over the corner of the earth; each religion has got a different view on him depending on how they depict of him.
Christianity they say God used to speak to them directly, through prophets (God's representatives) and he does now using physical things because he is a spirit.

I think our perception of what God is has been messed up over the centuries. There's nothing really dangerous about believing in an actual being with a consciousness that can be compared to a human's but I think it's probably wrong.
I think we are spiritually better off to understand how we are a part of all nature around us, and to hold the world around us in deeper regard and step away from the individualistic trend society seems to be taking. I think the idea of God as more of the link that connects us with nature might be more accurate but I don't think it's possible for any of us to EVER truly understand what God is.

I don't believe God ever talked to any human. If He did
the puny human would blow up! The Earth would shake!
But Gods representatives do talk to us.
The Holy Spirit answers our questions in many ways.
A key word or words we see in a book. Something we hear in a converstation.
God always answers prayer. Sometimes He just says NO!
What we think is good for us, isn't always good for us.
And I've heard many testimonies of how people felt
let down because they didnt get something they
wanted. Only to get something even better later on down the line!

He does speak all the time, and yes, he does speak english. He speaks all the languages (after all, he did originate them). He speaks in various ways, through your inner voice (as a believer), through His word, through circumstances and happenstances. Is he an objective being? No He isnt. Why? because being objective is about weighing things to get to the "best" or most "reasonable" end point - He knows that already. He is spirit, and that's all there is to it.

Oh he speaks all the time! You just have to have your ears open!
I believe in the One true God! I believe in Jesus Christ who was God in a human form...and he did live and die and had all the human attributes with one exception...he was perfect and did not sin!

Because he is a figment of someones imagination very clever but not for me i only have time for facts not fiction. So too answer your question the object refered too as god only exists in mind not body so you will get a lot of different answer depending on the respondents perception.

God is the devine spirit.
He is everywhere
Earth, space, universe. Everywhere.
When I have a gut feeling about something. If some thing is wrong, etc. Or inner voice. To me that is the Devine Spirit.
God is in us all, we just have to listen to him.
Make any sense???

GOD did talk to the people and they still didn't listen. Now GOD has allowed us to have free-will until all that has to be done is done. Things have to go as they are intended to go. When GOD comes to this earth, we are all going to be talked to. I hope you will be prepared. Thank you and GOD bless.

His voice is in His Word.
God’s Word is His Spirit the Spirit of truth or the Holy Spirit. Not the printed text but God’s will, plan, thoughts, wisdom, knowledge, and His feelings the printed text conveys.
