You need to discuss the side-effects with your doctor. If it's a necessary medication, like blood pressure meds or anti-depressants, for example, your doctor may want to switch you to another type that will do the job without causing you dizziness. Don't stop any medications without first consulting your physician. Some of the medications you have to gradually stop taking, or the withdrawals can be worse than the current side-effects.

Call your doctor. Do not ever stop a medication without your doctors approval. Stopping some medicines suddenly can have adverse affects and can be dangerous. If it is in a pill form you might try taking two halves at two different times a day. That way your not getting as big a dose at one time and maybe that won't make you dizzy like it is now.

Ask your doctor before you stop taking any prescribed medication.
Without knowing what medication it is it's difficult to make any suggestions. If it is a fairly new medication it may take some weeks before it settles into your system and maybe all you need is time and the dizzyness will ease up.
There are medications you can take to couteract dizziness so if you see your doctor and s/he says there is no alternative to the med s/he has given you, ask for something else to combat this side effect.
Karma.

It depends on what you are taking the medicine for. If you are taking it for very serious reasons, then I would suggest speaking with your doctor about changing the dosage or medication type. If it is something along the lines of Advil or Tylenol, or another over the counter drug that wasn't prescribed to you, then yes, stop taking it. If it bugs you that much!

Depends on what medicine it is. If you need to take it then don't stop. talk to your doctor maybe he/she can get you something else that wont make you dizzy. If its something that you only take occasionally then I would stop.

If it is something you have to take, talk to your doctor about taking it right before you go to bed, by the time you wake up in the morning the dizziness should be gone.

You should talk with your Doctor first before you stop taking the medication. Some medications can cause increased side effects if you stop taking it suddenly. Call your Doctor, let him/her know how this is effecting you and that you're considering get off it and see if he can prescribe you something else. Good Luck!

you could start at half dose, then when you will get used to it, you go to full dose. Anyway you will see your doctor tomorrow so ask him. I find it strange that you have been prescribed this medication :Trileptal (oxcarbazepine) is in a group of drugs called anticonvulsants, or antiepileptic drugs. It works by decreasing nerve impulses that cause seizures. Ask your doctor if there is not another type of medication that you can use.
