Yes I do. I'm a firm believer that, "you reap what you sow", "what goes around, comes around" and "you get what you dish out". So I reflect on how I want people to treat me, how I've treated people and the consequences of my actions. And it all comes down to this: be kind, kind, kind...no matter what. Even in the worst situations, with the worst people...enemies, as well as family and friends. You will always come out on top! It may seem difficult to believe but it's true, your enemies will fall at your feet and others will love to be in your company.

Yes. That's the very basis of my morality -- predict consequences and choose the actions that lead to the most happiness for all.

Good predictions come from experience and reflection.

Of course. Doesn't everyone. I heard a very long time ago that those who do not learn from history (and about history) are doomed to repeat it. How often do you see that happening?

I also heard a definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.

Experience is often useful to help us avoid painful mistakes and repeat those actions we perceive as good for us and others. It's called learning.
Have a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.
May you learn all you wish to know.

Always, however it has led me to a somewhat stunted growth, in which I analyze situations more thoroughly, but Alas, such is the way of growing.

Yes, I do. And I can't understand a person who never learns from their experiences. I know someone like that.

All the time. Unfortunately, it doesn't always help me avoid making the same mistakes (or even new ones) but at least I am trying.
