We've been dating for almost two years and plan to get married, he is really into video games so I got him Nintendo's Secret of Mana online, but it wont be here until after christmas! And I'm making him a book from scratch about us, but I always like to give extravagant gifts, I don't want to just hand him one little thing, even if it is really special.

I don't want to buy him clothing, or anything too cliche. Does anyone have any ideas? For bought or homemade gifts, or even setting up a suprise?

My no-no list: no watches , no clothes as gifts, unless a book worm, no books either.

video games.- you have picked a video game , that's good.
what remains: other electronics.

hey have you looked into something that's missing in his car.

how about a engraved-in glass - photo block/cube (i have seen at walmart photo section) with yours and his close up photo..

how about a digital photo frame.. Philips one looks great- can accompany your scrap - much nicely.

u r luck, quoting the url:

check your budget though.. at the end both of you need is just love.

What about a nice candlelit dinner just the two of you? You could make his favorite meal and set the mood of the whole night. Or maybe you can give him a day all about him, make him breakfast in bed, take a shower together rub him down. Watch whatever he wants to all day or do whatever he wants. Then a nice dinner and a backrub.

Make a coupon book for him, with little treats, like you'll cook his fav. dinner one night, 1 hr of game time no interruptions, others that he would like. Its easy and from the heart!

Take him on a trip. There are many travel packages to choose from. There are many surprises that men wish for but never obtain.
