I want to bake cakes and cookies from scratch. I've done this before and followed the recipe exactly and the cookies came out bad. Soo I'm thinking not all recipes are good online since anyone and their grandma can share crappy recipes.

Soo if you guys know a good website, please send me a link. Something not commercialized, something you've used, something people can share their reviews.

Does it matter what pan I use? I know you get what you pay for, do you think that matters?

Muchas gracis, shukriya, arigato, terima kasih and thank you so much for your answers, I appreciate it!

Some of the best and most popular recipes come from manufacturers. Examples would be Toll House cookies from Nestle, the recipe on the package of chocolate chips. For oatmeal cookies I use the recipe on the box of Quaker oatmeal, just adding a little molasses for color.

You might want to check this site. I've used it frequently because the recipes are rated by people who have actually tried them and they can put in comments on how they liked it, what they changed, etc. I've found this to be quite helpful. The site name is All Recipes. The link below is to cookies but they have all categories. Check around there. You'll probably find something you'd like to make and feel confident will come out quite tasty.
