Well, you could be. The coastal areas of what was Yugoslavia were long-term parts of the Roman Empire as the Provinces of Dalmatia and Illyria. The other parts were also under Roman control, but for shorter periods. Roman genes were probably left all over the area, more along the coast than the mountains.

First of all, you can't be "Yugoslavian". Former Yugoslavia was a multi-ethnic country. Although linguistically almost all of its peoples (wth notable exception of ethnic Albanians) belong to the South Slavic language family, there is a considerable variety of religion and culture. Serbs are Orthodox, Croats are Catholic, and Bosnians are Muslims, to name a few...
Second, do you really mean Roman (as in Rome, Italy) or Romanian, which would make more sense? And no, Romania and former Yugoslavia are quite distinct. Romanians speak Romance language...
Just to further confuse you, though, there is a small (about 20,000) Romanian population in Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in Serbia...

That means that you are from the country formerly known as Yugoslavia. It has nothing to do with the Roman empire, which is what is currently known as Italy.

Why you say Yugoslavian, when "it" doesn't exist anymore?
If you say from which part do you come, maybe some can help..
But anyway,I don't think there's connection..
