until he finds a new one...

Depends on so many varialble, how long they were together, how much time they spent with each other, etc.. But ultimatley remember women are more emotional and they fall in love with their ears..for example what a guy say to them and what he does for them. A guy on the other hand falls in love with their eyes..how the woman looks if she is pleasing on the eyes..therefore the next good looking woman who comes along he is over it...Sad but true.

I know your very young because no adult woman in her right mind would ask this question because mainly, there's no answer. This is on the same line as my b/f this and my g/f that. Questions that no one in hell could possibly answer because it's an individual emotional thought process. This means that unless everyone can crawl inside this man's mind and scratch out the answer from his gray matter, there's no answer for this type of question. you all want to be treated like a mature adults, boy's and girl's alike but then you folks ask these off the wall questions, it frustrates us older people who know not to ask these questions but don't mind sharing our wisdom and experience with our youth and this is what I'm doing right now. I'm not trashing or disrespecting you, I'm giving you advise so maybe your next question can be answered and you can get some healthy, supportive answers from everyone. There's a lot of people on yahoo questions and answers young and old a like. Actually, I'm very impressed with our youth to find the knowledge and maturity in they're answers. Maybe this will help you when you don't recieve any good answers to this question. Good luck and happy holidays to you and yours. :)

Depends on the guy and how attached he was. If they were in a relationship it may take longer, especially if she dumped him. But some guys can carry on a crush for way too long.

get over? It depends on how much he liked her.

They say when guys fall, the fall hard!...so im assuming that if he truely loved you, than he may never get over you. But if he only liked you, than it would only take him a few seconds to move on. Although your number will definately stay in his phone for late night booty calls.

It depends on the guy, his personality and the nature of his feelings for the girl. Given time, however, he will get over her enough to relegate her to his private thoughts and unrequited fantasies and move on.

Depends on the person, it will take some time but you just have to move on and meet other people. the sooner you meet someone else the sooner you will forget about the other person.

Take it from me, it can take a while, depending on how long they were together, and it can really, really hurto n the way, especially if it was more "love" than "like".
