Illegals coming where they don't belong is the same as someone trespassing on private property.

I don't really see a legal link between the two except the owner's rights of his private property and sometimes when an owner has quite a bit of land that is unpatrolled, or uncared for he may one day find that illegal immigrants have taken to camp on his private property. That would be a matter for the police to remove them. I don't think illegal immigrants are allowed to own private property, but i'm sure there are ways around it.

Private property is private property. Illegal or legal you have to respect the owners wishes and stay out. Or you are in violation of the law.

Would-be immigrants must trespass on private property to cross; the proposed border fence will traverse private property, and rights in the land, (fee or easement) will have to be acquired by eminent domain and sometimes by court actiion. Vigilante or self-help groups such as the Minutemen also enter private land, sometimes with permission or license, and sometimes not, as part of their project to enforce the borders and aid immigrants in distress.

It isn't. At least in the US. Now if you are illegal, or even legal immigrant in Mexico you can't own prime property and you can be deported for any reason and lose that property.

If someone is on your posted private property without your permission, its trespassing. People have been shot for trespassing in the past, this shouldn't be any different.
