technology. For example in Syariah law to prove a rape case you need 4 witness. Doesn't make sense. In this today modern world we use Science call DNA to proove it.

Because women are 4th class citizens. It has been that way so long that they don't know any better. Men have all the laws for their benefit in those middle eastern countries. The women have no worth. That is why the women are finding out now that we have liberated some of them that there is a better life to be had. Of course the ones who are so brain washed are still fighting it but many are praising us for what we have done for them. Freeing them from their prison. Sure people have died, freedom has never come cheap. At least they are not being killed because of their religion has abused them again. Thank God for America once again!!!

There is NOTHING good to say about the idiot. You have all seen to that!! After all look at the example you have all provided the world. All the violence you have created. All the people you have killed and all the people who have been killed because of your actions!!!

capn edib, you are either miss informed or you are not telling a truth because we know that there is plenty of abuse sexual and torturous abuse of women in islamic countries. Maybe you need to go there as a women. Our media has gone undergound and found out plenty!!!!

Despite all your technical advances, the rapes are minimal in Muslim countries if compared to the west.

Then whose law is better ?

I would like to share with you that Islam has a provision to interpret/ adjust the fundamental laws of Quran according to the needs of time which is prevailing.

The change is going on. Some are quick and others are following slowly.

You DO require DNA technology becoz you have to decide rape cases which occur rapidly in your countries otherwise they would have piled up to your head.

And requiring 4 witness is a traditional law and not as per Islamic law.

Can you change the fundamental rules of physics ?? Though the technology has advanced so much. The cars are not the same as they used to be, the airoplanes are not the same, the computers are not tha same.

Every thing has changed with some tecnological advances. But did the Newtons laws of motion change ?

Did other fundamental laws of Physics change ??

Likewise the Quran contains some fundamental guidelines for the whole humanity, which will never ever be irrelevent .

TO EFFIN B & OTHERS.........

1. Women in Islam can not go outside.

It is the Muslim countries like Pakistan & Bangladesh which have produced women Prime Ministers and other leaders like Benazir Bhutto, Sheikh Hasina Wajid, Begaum Zia Khaled etc etc, which even US and many other wetern countries have failed to produce.

It was Islam which recognized women rights for the first time, in the property, marriage, education, etc etc.

" Acquisition of knowledge is incumbent both on muslim man and a muslim WOMAN. "--Muhammad.

There have been several Muslim Queens who have led the nations like India [e.g. Razia Sultan etc]

Dear Effin if Muslim women didnt have a right to freedom, then how could they reach to the top ???

2. Muslim women get in trouble if they report rape.

I would like to share with you that more than 70 % cases of rape go un -noticed in India for this reason only, Then why do you blame Muslims only ?

3. Marital rape is never.........

What are you talking about Effin ? Islam has provided the harshest punishment for " ZINA" / rape.

4.A Muslim woman is SHAMED for being raped..........

Effin B ......... you are disgracing the women of WEST as if a western woman feel PROUD after being raped. How ridiculous ?

5. Women who fight back..........

How many cases can you quote Effin ? To the contrary your NEWS papers are filled up with such cases.

Dear SKOOTER.........................

Thank you for accepting that you people have no other option [like your wisdom] but to rely on your media which has been time and again misused for malafied propaganda.

That law has nothing to do with the Koran. I, as a Muslim, are probably not the only one who feel that law should be changed.

You speak of us using a 600 AD Holy Book in a "Modern" World, when Christians and Jew's (Ect.) themselves use older and/or BC-AD religious writings.

Do not judge us by using such old religious writings, such antique words should be read and used for knowldge. Not power and held up against one another based on ignorance and misinterpreted verses.

The Principles of the Chariya goes beyond time...
The Quran does not say an eye for an eye nor does the Quran ask you to turn the other cheek when you are being slap.
The Quran is the perfect way of Guidance.
The laws of the Jews and Christian don't apply today But that of the Quran is still alive..

It would be more appropriate to ask these questions from the qualified in religion. Well though out questions, I must agree. I would like to clarify whatever that I happen to know or have learned from the clergymen. YOU MAY NOT READ THIS FURHTER IF YOU CANNOT TAKE THE TRUTH !!! Actually the fact is that Shariah is derived in a similar fashion the way once the Jewish Laws were. You must note that it was never done in his lifetime but only after passing away of The Prophet. The Prophet only told Muslims to compile Koran in a particular manner but never suggested to go for a set-of-standards interpreting Koran and his practices! Popularly known as "Shariah" today. The first four Chaliphs after the Prophet never spoke about it, or mentioned it in any way (to the best of my understanding). In the SUPPORT to my arguments I would like to mention following practise carried out by The Prophet Muhammad (mpbuh) well know to those having fair understanding of Islam. When Jews & Christians used to approach The Prophet for guidance in their respective religions, God All-Wise Commanded The Prophet to decide Jewry & Christians according to their books. God never asked to used the interpretations to decide any thing about Torah & Gospel. From certain hadits it is clear that The Prophet never decided by their laws but by their Books! THEREFORE, why in our own case the Shariah, which has many interpretations, after all? Which is the case of developing factions! Which none can be sure of being the Commandment of God, rather it's an interpretation of God's Commandments! Now as for the cases mentioned: CASE-1:- Stoning to death is in Jewish law. Not in Christinty & not in Islam. Even if a big group of people practice it, doesn't make it Islamic punishment. CASE-2:- Of course God has expressed abhorrance and the People of Prophet Lot were punished by the natural calamity but God has not mentioned in Koran to punishment to such people. So how can we on our own decide to punish people for the sodomy acts? Their punishment rests with the Lord. CASE-3:- Won't agree with you here! Korn explains and gives out reason regaridg the nature of women "If one forgets then the other must remind her". Hence, applicable in all situations as the habit of forgetfullness is universal, irresptective of the situation or matters. CASE-4:- Raping of women is not mentioned... the subject speaks particularly about fornication, I repeat, fornication. Now, it's was for the interpretors to decide and they simple categorised with the punishment for commiting fornication. What an easy way out??? CASE-5:- Well, Koran in fact satates about God taking them to task. Now, who are we? Who are we to interceede and come up with a punishment?? The question remains, who are we??? More so: Koran refrains to consume or charge Usuary but this day clergymen ask not to pay Usuary? Don't they know that Koran is not refraining from getting a loan on Usuary and LENDING a loan on Usuary! Alas, they are doing things that they don't have a right to do. But I give it a damn to all this, all because as I shall be only answerable to the deeds that I shall commit, the promises that I shall break, or the mischiefs committed by my person.

Salam Alikum...
600AD was the Highest Time of mankind knowledge .... this is ISLAMIC way of teachings ...

I am student of Quran can prove it ...

Take a paper & write down YOUR Date of Birth .....

Open Quran 96.2 .... Creator is telling us .... YOU ARE CREATED BY CLOUT of blood (This is DATE of Brith)

Compare Your Date of Birth with The date of your Clouted Soul
if both Dates are Same.... Then i can say your Technalogy is Advance then QURAN ...... Upto to now " Education is baby " VS Bible/Quran...

untill now I personally could not find single nation, Who can be LABELE as Image of Islam / Quran ....

Jazak Allah = God Rewards you

It's Shariah Laws. And yes it is perfectly acceptable to use our Laws since they are in the Qur'an and all Muslims should follow the Qur'an and Shariah Laws. And if you don't like it then just use your own laws. At least Muslims pay attention to what our bible teaches us.
