In my opinion it is hard to find someone that is real to chat with because every time i start to chat with someone they ask what i have on....and what does that have to do with anything...so to answer your question you should just tell people what you are looking for in the beginning.

There are plenty of chat rooms out here on the web. Start visiting some and talking to people. Keep the ones you like and don't give ANY personal info here as it could be dangeropus. Unfortunately there are sick, predators out there. When you make friends exchange personal sites for friends only such as yahoo messenger and talk there instead of an open public chat room.

If your just looking for a friend and thats it, tell me if you find one cause I've been looking too. It seems that everyone I talk to wants to cyber sex and I am just not into that lol. Good luck
