The day I realized I didn't have to pretend to follow some supreme being and religion was a true turning point for me. It opened a whole new mental freedom. All that time I had been trying to deal with things in a mind set that essentially trapped me in a tiny little box. I didn't even believe in these things, but felt I had to go along. I finally realized that people CAN follow their own logic and reasoning. Once I could use my own greater understanding of the world to conceptualize issues, I was free.
It was an amazing revelation. Now I am no longer oppressed by man-made ideas of the world. Feeling free to accept things as they truly are is a fantastic and freeing experience.

I saw all of creation as being perfect. Everyone now looks like a perfect and beautiful part of God.
I see no bad people. I finally realize the God is unconditionally loving and would never judge anyone for any reason.
I see the idea of hell as a lie that religion tells about God.
Most of all I can now love everyone all of the time just like Jesus asked.
I finally understand.
Love and blessings Don

I was raised catholic, and at the age of 15, I left the church. From there i experimented with other christian denominations and religions-buddha,wicca, etc. Only to go back from where i started. the only difference is, is that i now understand catholicism better and appreciate it more.I have now been catholic for the last 4 years. I am at peace with God, for the first time!

The Holy Spirit or Spirit of truth is what you feel.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
The word "again" (anothen) in Greek means "from above", so born from above.
John 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
We all are born of the flesh and water, the womb. You must be born from above or the Spirit. God's Word is His Spirit.
I pray that helps you. Sow to your spirit by studying His Word which is God's Spirit.
KEEP MY WORDS
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
WE will come
make OUR abode with him.

When I was "saved" or born again, the first thing I knew to be true was that my sins were forgiven. It's like everything was new. It even seemed to me that color was more vivid. One thing for sure...I knew I was going to heaven because Jesus took my judgement when he died on the cross. Today, even though I still sin, I know that Jesus and His blood covers it all. I know I'm going to heaven. I know I'm saved from hell.

Yes I have, and what I feel is beyond what words can explain, non-believers have no conception of this nor are they capable of it.
