You two broke up for a reason and that reason still exists. It is normal to miss what a relationship was, but that does not mean it ever will again or was even as good as you think it was. Move on to men that are there and available.

I know this is hard.

Here is what I have learned from experience (and I am not going to sugar coat this):

*No matter how tough it is you need to cut ALL contact off with your ex. The more you persue contact the harder it will be, and the longer it will take for your wounds to heal.

*You need to realize that the harder you push the more likely your ex is going to pull further and further away, so it's really a pointless battle. He will be put off by the fact that he asked you to leave her be, and you keep laying on the pressure.
Odds are he broke up with you because a)he realized that you two were growing up and apart or b)he found someone else he was interested in dating and didn't want to cheat (or already had) and broke up with you to prevent damage of being caught cheating.

*You need to focus on something else other than him. Go out with your friends, work harder at work, do more and better school work. You need to give yourself time to let these gaping wounds heal. Trying not to think about her will help. Maybe even pick up a new hobby, join a new club, or go to the gym more.

*Above all, I cannot stress enough the fact that you just need to try to let this go. You need to throw yourself into the other parts of your life and move on. One day you will come to the realization that you will find someone else, and that you two really weren't meant to be.

Take care.

After you graduate you will meet lots of new people and surely there's someone better than this guy. If youre'still in school, you must be young. Take your time. Enjoy your life without a man then you will enjoy more if youre already successful in your career. Besides, time heals old wounds.
