The bible talks about war in the middle east because it was written by people who lived in the middle east, and they did not know of any wars anywhere except in the middle east.

It's not that Christ can't return until He has a body to return to but it is exactly as He said. Only a few will be ready. While the church persists in being disobedient about eating the right spiritual food in order to become a body ready for the Bridegroom, (a situation solidified by the introduction of the Bible) Christ is making sure that the few are ready by calling them out of the Bible.
As far as the secular instruments of God's will is concerned, they blindly follow a monorail existence, not knowing how time and eternity work together as revealed fully in Christ.
At the end only Christ. Get your priorities right.

Jesus would be friends with Muhamad, wouldn't he? There is a lot of garbage in the Bible, along with some great messages. Since there have been many wars in the Middle East, don't expect the next one will be the last. Jesus may not want to come back, given the way his followers disregard his message and find excuses to act against his word. An eye for an eye, or turn the other cheek? You better decide for yourself.

I think these people in the middle east don't want peace. There were in the cycle of hate and destructions, I got to the point that I don't want to watch TV for that, or read newspaper. Christ return? Perhaps, he is already here. The Christ is with us all the time. If the war in the middle east is predicted in the bible? I confess, I have not read the bible for a while. I'll check it.

There has been war in the middle east well before the US invasion. If there is a christ and if he choses to return it will be well beyond the lives of us because we as the human race will destroy ourselves.

In any event, I just want to wish your Christ a Happy Birthday, I hope he likes war, intolerance, prejudice and violence, because that’s what he's getting from his so-called followers – again.

Nobody knows.

Although the world follows the pattern of great nations rising and falling usually lead by evil dictators. There is talk about it because of the fear of war and the potential destruction of the planet.

Then again it has always been talked about, from the romans to the nazis, even to bush today. No way to know but the Bible says to be ready.

Yep, the prophecies of Scripture talk of a war leading up to Christ's Return in glory in the heavens...
Read Mathew 24.

Could be - the truth is Christ's return will be like a thief in the night, in a blink of an eye - no one knows the time nor the place, nor can we even interpret events that would foreshadow His return. Instead Christ instructed through his parables to be ready when He returns, instead of gambling our time away.

In the bible it talks about a whole lot of things.

Like you're not allowed to eat shellfish. Or use cloth made out of 2 materials (bye-bye polycotton sheets and cotton-wool jumpers). Or eat food made my a woman who is having her period.

So, have you ever eaten a prawn, or worn a polycotton shirt?

Do you do all the cooking when your wife is on her period?

No, I didn't think so.

Calm down and find something else to worry about. Something real might be good.

There will always be war in the Middle East because they are still tribal peoples who will squabble with their neighbours.
