I know that NONE of today's foods has "LARD" in it. Nobody uses "LARD" in any processed foods anymore. White bread has no nutritional value. It is like eating a handful of white sugar and two sheets of paper. The body has need of nutrients that are not found in most processed foods. I am not certain of the arterial clogging theory but I know that if you do your best to eat a variety of foods at each and every meal and begin a worout program that you will be in much better shape than 90% of the US population! Have a great Christmas with friends and family!

The lard in the white bread clogs your veins. The bread itself doesn't.
