if he doesn't touch you... does that mean he likes you?

I've been friends with a guy for 3+ yrs. we talk everyday. we go out with friends and it's like he purposely doesn't touch me. he walks up to people and puts his arm around them, pats on the back etc. he will kinda hug me when we part ways but that is it. it's almost like he is trying too hard to act like he doesn't like me. do guys do that? like the old games in grade school the boys would pick on the girls they like... when they grow up the stop picking on them and that means they like them? i'm confused... i do like him but with all the mixed signals i don't know what to do! HELP!

yeah it looks like he likes you...but he's going to be a 12 year old guy and play the i don't want anything to do with you game. If I were you i would make the first move..or talk to him and ask him how he feels..alone of course not in front of friends...this can be annoying but if you like him you'll wait it out and sooner or later he'll grow up.

he could be just a friend. but if he is physically intimate with other girls out there except for you, then there's something.

a guy who used to like me will not touch me, but he does so to every other girls out there. i don't know if this applies in your case.
