what I'm attracted to is independance, self controll, honesty, and loyalty. If a man has all of those traits and Loves you he will treat you right.
We appreciate honesty even if you think it will make us mad. We are more mad if we find out that you lied than if you tell us the stupid thing you did from the begining. We will forgive you because we love you and understand that people make mistakes. As long as you didn't cheat on us. Thats not forgiveable.
Loyalty is expected even by your friends. A dog is even loyal, a man should be able to be.
Self controll shows that you would definately be able to be loyal even if you were tempted by another woman. If you can say no and we knows that than we would be less likely to be mad if you went out without us. This also would change the way you talk to someone. You would be less likely to flip out over things, and get angry quickly...also very important, means you wont be abusive.
Independant - can take care of and support himself, not taken care of by his mommy or his girl friend. You don't have to be rich or have alot of money, just not be lazy and be able to manage your money, so when you have a family some day, your woman knows she can rely on you.
This is they type of man that i would want. He can have any type of personality (as long as he has a personality - im not attracted to boering guys) and still be a great guy as long as he has all of these characteristics.

The Nice Guy seems like a knob.
All guys have the same intentions with women generally, but at least the bad boys are honest about it.

i think a balance between both. to me what really matters is that the guy is himself. So for him to show his commitment and a romantic side, but then for him to not be afraid to stand up for himself and his beliefs.
