Eating smaller meals several times a day would be a better approach. One meal a day may slow your metabolism and hence slow your weight reduction. I would also look into beginning some form of excerise program. Check with your doctor before beginning since you have a blood pressure problem. Maybe just daily walking would help. Good luck and congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

The Kimkins diet can help you, but it's strict. This is why it works so fast.
Otherwise, search for a diet that you like and will give you the results you want. Be aware of what you eat. Few people know how high the calories are in snack foods: 300 for a $.25 frozen burrito, 375 for a Cup of Noodles, 150 for a can of Pepsi.
Less carbs will help. Check my blog for the Ziploc omelette recipe. It's fun! And a quick way to make breakfast on the go (put the baggie in the microwave instead.

The one thing that i can tell you to do is to do the excercises that the military do, it helped me to lose weight real quick like a couple of weeks. but you have to do 10 sit ups every morning otherwise you are going to hurt a lot worse. do not eat one time a day eat like you normally would but replace junk and fast food with fruit or salad. good luck and hope this works

eating one time a day is not going to help you lose weight. to lose weight, you need to eat more. people who are trying to lose weight need to eat 4-6 small meals a day and exercise. that's it. there's nothing more that you can do besides diet and exercise.
