He isnt giving advice about sex, he is giving advice about abstinence ( he is for it) which he DOES know about.

The popes sex advice is to not commit adultery. That is already written in the 10 commandments.

Well, he wasn't always pope. Besides, who said anyone had to take the adivce of the pope? I sure don't. Besides, wasn't he in like the Hitler Youth or something like that? That's a pretty good reason not to listen to his advice.

If you read the history of the popes, you will be amazed how much the popes knew about sex.

If you're going to be Catholic then I guess you gotta do what the pope says. I don't know what advice he has given, but I doubt if it's "how" to do it. More than likely it's advice which is scripture related - more like "when" to do it and "who with".

If it's not to commit adultery-then anyone married should take that advice. The 10 commandments, and Jesus spoke against it. It breaks up marriages,and causes great pain and sorrow.

The Pope deals with your spirtual well being...not the physical and since neither seems to apply to this generation...it is imperative they concern themselves with their medical well being as it can alter their lives dramatically.
