Christianity definitely helped keep the number of revolts down by making the slaves believe that God wants them to be slaves. Consider these holy scriptures:

When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21)

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)

We all know that God approves of killing anyone who does not believe in him. But in case some of us have forgotten here is the scripture: "They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman." (2 Chronicles 15:12-13)

No, a lot of the slaves weren't Christianized. And of the ones who were, many looked to the story of Exodus and the Crucifixion for inspiration and faith that God would release them from slavery one day.

no but it probably made the owners feel better. You need to check out the actual conditions for slaves and then compare it to what people working at minimum wage today. I am not sure which is better myself.

Nope, he wasn't.

And the Abolitionist movement was a Christian movement.

The only cultures to voluntarily abandon slavery have been Christian cultures.

Well, it clearly helps validate the idea that some people are better than others.

Yes, it did. It still helps to enslave people mentally.
