I've been going out with my boyfriend 13 months now and I do trust him completley, BUT this girl kept trying to cause trouble, this girl being is supposed friend, which they have known each other a long time. When I met her I did like her but then she started saying things to drive a wedge between me and my boyfriend like saying how his Mum said I'm not right for him (which was a lie) and asking him to move in with her, well the long and short of it is I wanted to see him last night and he said he was just going to go straight home, so I said that's fine, then he said he was going to see a band with this girl, which really upset me because it's like she's horrible to me and if the shoe was on the other foot he wouldn't want me to go, so I said well you go I'm not going to stop you, I don't like it but I can't stop you, and I've NEVER tried to stop him having friends. Anyway he emailed this girl and said because of the reasons above I didn't want him to see this band with her, so he

didn't go, there is an age difference between us as he's 25 and I'm 17, but this girl emailed him back saying how I obviously feel threatened by their relationship as friends and was calling me immature, which really upset me as my boyfriend agrees entirely which is not true, as I've never stopped him going out with her and even yesterday I had said to him to go, she was saying to my boyfriend I don't trust him but I do, it's just because after the things she's done in the past when all I've done is try to be her friend she's just totally blanked me, what I want to know is should my boyfriend have told her that what she said was not very nice and should he have stuck up for me? or am I just getting upset over nothing?
