You just know in the first kiss if you really actually feel somthing for that person. I had a crush on a guy back when I was 15 and he was my first kiss. After the kiss I realized I really didn't like him much. there was no "spark".
Usually if you first kiss someone and it feels like you have to catch your breath there's defenatly somthing there. But it probably depends on each and every person.
All I can say is you just know in the first kiss.

It is a feeling you get if you dont like the kiss you know you dont want to be with a person who dosent turn you on with a kiss and if it is really good and there are sparks then you know you want to spend time getting to know that person

I have never heard that little pearl of wisdom before.
I would guess that a first kiss makes you aware of how you respond to and feel about a person.

I have no idea. All I got from first kisses was knowing whether it was pleasurable, whether she kisses sloppy, and how it tasted.

I dont think that is true.....first kiss can be awkward and then your relationship could be great.....first kiss could be awesome and you could fight constantly and break up.
