Everyone has their differences. Just try to enjoy the holidays and be glad you have a family (many people do not).

Why don´t you call a meeting with all member´s of family. only way to get on is by talking about the problem , I know people that never stopped being at each other´s throat´s, then one member of the family decided to have a question box, everybody write´s what they like and dislike on a piece of paper, or it could be why does he get more pocket money than me, anything to do with family problem´s. then at the end of the day open the box , take one paper out and all sit down & talk about what´s written on the paper, it seem´s to work for them. ,it might work for you and your family. I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas& A happy New Year

Mate, I hear you. I don't get on with my family. I haven't spoke to my parents for a year and I can't stay in the same room as my sisters for longer than 2 days. My mum is always right, never wrong and never sorry and of course my dad backs her up yet they make me feel like a **** daugter. Xmas makes me anxious but I do it because they're family. I wouldn't choose them but there it is. Maybe if I stopped waiting for an apologie off my mother for all the things she's done and made an effort with my sisters I'd get on but as I'm as stubborn as they all are, we remain the same. I would say life is too short but that's really pot calling the kettle isn't it?!

Do you all still live at home? If so, that's probably something to do with it. I used to fight with my brother but since we grew up we're really close. We run a business together now and we get on great.

When your always around someone, its hard to always get along, and other people probably don't want to argue in front of friends and look bad.

Your house is like a lot of houses - most families fight and they fight in the house. If you could see into your neighbor's houses, you'd see them fighting like cats and dogs.

all families go through the same thing...you will just have to learn how to get along with them...even if it's just for one day..i was forever arguing with my lot...then realised that they did it to wind me up on purpose...now i don't allow it...i ignore them....works every time...don't fall for it...then they cant throw ammo back at you
