If someone of the opposite gender hugs you (when the door is closed) every time they see you does it mean any thing?

wow its odd they only do it with the door closed,,,,, as opposed to in front of others,,,, then i guess it would depend on the circumstances, are you both single adults? is one a child/minor? is one in a relationship? if the last two, its wrong,,,,,,,

I'm not sure what "door" you are talking about, but a hug is a gesture of friendship and caring. I wouldn't read much more into just a hug, some people are just huggers. If you feel like there is more meaning to it, be sure and look for other signs of intrest, before getting carried away.

Sounds like me! I give hugs all of the time because I'm overly affectionate. I am married, but I still give hugs to my friends (some whom are male). My husband is OK with it because he knows it's my way of showing them that I really care about them and that I value their friendship.

It just means they are physically affectionate people. It does not necessarily mean anything. Some people are born into families where the show of physical affection is welcomed and encouraged. Don't read more into it than there is. If in doubt, ask the hugger about it.

Nope. Just that they have an open, affectionate nature. They may come form a hugging family that is very generous with such simple shows of affection and friendship.

It depends on HOW they hug ;) Is it a quick hug with the back-pat, or is it a long hug with a squeeze?
Kind of like a kiss. . .there are different kinds that mean different things.

It is LOVE. When you care about that person you hug them, it shows your feelings in an easier way, just like a kiss on the cheek.

Quit reading into things. A hug is a hug. A nice gesture, like a handshake.

its just a show of affection, amazing how a hug can be a turn on even when its not really meant to be that way, at least most hugs anyway lol

yeah i guess so, its more like a sign of respect, like a hand shake between to blokes. After all it has to mean something or it has no purpose. just have a look on You tube for "free hugs"
