How refreshing. I'm glad to know there are decent people out there, who don't discriminate against an entire faith due to the actions of a minority. These people don't even know they are the subjects of manipulation in order to justify the actions of our war mongering leaders.
Chris G- How many times do I have to remind people that terrorists come in many forms. IRA, ETA, 40's Zionism. Please, read something!!

I can't see the point in having a grudge against Muslims.
Also, we are not responsible for what was done in the past!
We made mistakes and will go on making them, because we are human...
However, maybe we can help in a small way to improve what happens in the future. And If we are going to live side by side, we have to get along as best we can together.
I find most people are fine if you are interested in what they have to say.
In the wider world, maybe a bit of understanding about each others culture wouldn't go amiss. No not holier than thou, just seeing it as it is.
We are here, live every day as best you can, and think yourself lucky if you can open the larder door; and there's food in it!
Regards, Cassandra

how long ago exactly was the spanish inquisition, a few hundred years? The world has moved on from medievel times. We're in the 'enlightened, civilised' 21st century, Should we kill the romans, the scandinavians for theirs? No. But then if the muslims believe it's the 14th century as their calendar says then maybe it's not surprising and they've got a long way to go to catch up with the age of reason.

I am an atheist also and have nothing against muslims in general - I have nothing against any religion - only against those people who abuse their religion and turn it into an excuse to do bad things. All races and religion and colours all have a place in this world and as long as we treat eachother fairly it would all be good - but those that use their religion for bad and evil - well those people I do have something against - its not right

Not really sure, but I suspect there've been no "goings on" with regard to the Spanish inquisition in about.... oh.... six centuries. Torquemada's been gone a long time, dude.
Personally, I have no real problem with any of the everyday muslims I see at the mall. (My city is about 10% Islamic.)

I don't have anything against true Muslims.
I DO have a problem with the literalists that are trying to hijack the religion of peace, and believe they are being directed by Allah that they are directed to kill anyone who is not Muslim.
Christianity was also hijacked by the literalists about 1,700 years ago. There is a BIG difference between the religion OF Jesus, and the religion ABOUT Jesus.

I have nothing against Muslims personally, but I can see why some people have.
Can you possibly cast your mind back to the 7th of July? Bomb on the London bus and the london underground?

I don't have anything against Muslims or anyone else of any other religion. However, blow me up and or other innocent people then I have every bit of hatred to the person or people who did it in the name of religion or what ever other lame excuse.

They are retards.. they follow the media and not the truth....
They will never actually study Islaam to see if it's actually true about suicides bombings and stuff.... which is not...

Pagans of other religions are afraid of Islam cuz of its universality. They think if they allowed their followers to study true Islam, they will convert to it, as it is being done in many parts of the world. So they always try to defame Islam and Muslims. To influence innocent people by references, they modified their holy books time and again,,,,,, and hence made their own belief conspicuous.
