I think it depends on how long we've been roomates for. I'm a 26/F. If we've just begun being roomates, then you might gradually declothe in public. For example: start off by coming out of your room in pajama pants and a tank top. After a month or two take off the tank top. It would probably be acceptable if the weather were pretty hot also. If I were your roomate when would it be acceptable for me to run around with my top off?

It's your place too, but please have a shirt at the dinner table, always been my thing. If someone else is expected, put a shirt on. I'm an old bag, 48, female. I felt the same way when I was your age. I had a male boarder that used to come and pay his rent in a robe and a thong, gross! I'm not a prude but modest.

UHH I think that is a ? you have to ask your roomate. And it depends if we were girls I would feel uncomfortable with a girl with her shirt off, I am a girl, and I wouldn't mind If my guy roommate had his shirt off as long as he wasnt obese. It's normal for guys to have their shirts off. shouldn't be a big deal.

24, female. really i don't care about the shirt thing, as long as there's not company over there's really no big deal about a guy not having a shirt on.

30, male. For most guys, it is ok whenever you feel like it. If I had company coming over that may object, I'd tell you so you'd be prepared, but I would also tell my guests so they are not immediately shocked

It would never be okay. But I wouldn't have a problem with you walking around with no pants.
