Allah is the just the arabic word for God like how
Dios is just the spanish word for God

It is not a new God but rather the same God who created Adam, and the God who Abraham prayed too, the God who sent all the messengers, of which the greater ones are Moses, Jesus Son Of Mary, and Muhammad the last and final messenger.

Allah is the God in Islam so yes they would have to believe in him. They believe that "there is no God but Allah and Mohamed was his prophet", the also accept Moses, Jesus and a thousand others as messengers of Allah's word.

If they don't believe in Allah, they're not muslim. Kinda like a christian believing in Jesus as our savior, If you don't believe in Him, you're not christian. Islam, Judaism and Christianity are beliefs, not geographical locations.
