It'll be on one side underneath of the engine - you'll be able to identify it as the clutch cable and shift linkage should be visible from under the bonnet, assuming it's a manual. If it's an auto it'll be in a similar place. That car is front-wheel drive.

On a Front Wheel Drive Car it is attached on to the side of the engine horizontally. On a rear wheel drive car it is behind the engine

On the right hand side of the Engine as you're looking under the bonnet

Underneath the engine - it's advisable to get a mehanic to look at it as they will be able to put it on a ramp and strip it down if thats what your intending to do? Why don't you buy Haines Manual that will show you everything about your car and what you need to do.....?

It is called a transaxle, and is bolted to your engine and transfers the power from the engine to the axles. Not to be worked on by a novice.

doesn't have a gear box it has rack and pinoin steering controlled by the power steering pump.

please take it to a garage, if you have to ask were the gear box is there is no way you could work on it, you will only damage your self and the car..
