Why do you post in the Religion & Spirituality section when it would be more political correct for you to post in Mythology & Folklore section? Just a Thought.

First I don't Care how I spell it because I am not one.
Second those who got the joke, got it ...the rest of you didn't. You call religion a myth so argue your post in the myth section. If anything that would piss off religious folks more anyway. Also I don't care if someone else posted this cause guess what ?I have life to live and don't spend every waking moment of my life in a basement logging this crap and know who posted what.

The rest of the trolls need to get a life. You only taunt people on the internet because you can't do it in the real world without getting stomped on. If you have a problem with this Go to an Army Recruiter... join ... Then I will see you here where I am in a few months and we can talk in person :)

I check the mythology and folklore section frequently, but it seems people tend to address their questions to atheists in the religion and spirituality section.

Good question. But all the God and religion related questions are focused here. Perhaps the two sections should be merged, for political correctness. I'm a christian, so please don't think I'm trying to say all religion is a myth. That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying, If they think religion is myth and folklore, and the religious questions are sent here, then just maybe the two sections should be together. after-all, they have to express their opinion on religion just as much as we have a right to express our opinion on any other belief system, just so long as we're not trying insult anyone.

What!!!
You believe in a god that you cannot empirically prove the existence of and you don't think that's the stuff of myths ? Why is your god real and Zeus is not ? Only because you believe it to be so and that's the only proof that you have.
Doesn't believing in a fantasy being , that is intimately involved in your everyday activities come under the heading of "Mental Health ?
If you took out the word god from your prayers and substituted " Charlie" the name of your Golden Retriever, would the mental health professionals still regard you as healthy ? Would you get the same results ?

first u spelled it wrong.... "atheist". second, atheism is rational and secular. It's religion that belongs in mythology. You should think again about what belongs where. Those with no belief, who wish to think about the metaphysical, as well, have a right to express their thoughts.

Get over it.

I post my questions in whatever category they belong. I have no control over where the questions I answer are placed.

Incidentally, congrats go out to you for being the 1 billionth person to ask this question! You may claim your booby prize at the door.

Because some believe, they just don't want to, and would rather die than admit it.
They do not want to believe that they will be held accountable for their actions so they come into these "Chat Forums" day after day, obsessed with trying to destroy the faith and prevent others from believing out of bias and hatred and lack of tolerance.
and so on.
