I spoke with someone yesterday that had a flight cancelled due to fog. They were going to fly to Ireland.

Also a neighbour phoned me and told me that they couldn't see further than 5 car lenghths from their house. If there is fog that close to home then Knock Airport was definately out of action.

BA are at it again ... cancelling internal flights because they dont have the punters to fill the planes.. who really is bonkers enough to pay for a plane ticket with BA.. apart from business users..& rich people who want to escape the easyjet crowd - think about it - Most modern planes with Stevie Wonder at the controls can land - and they dont seem to be cancelling any profitable long haul flights..

You'd prefer flying in bad fog, with the chance of a crash?

My sister got stuck in Zurich yesterday becuase her flight couldn't land at Heathrow. I would check with the airline before you leave for the airport.
