take her out of diapers on a day where you will be home and going nowhere for two days, have rewards for if she goes on the potty something small that she likes...it can be a piece of candy. I have 4 kids and it worked for all 4 of mine...Although, dont scold her if she doesnt go on the potty kids will go when they are ready.

All kids potty train at different times. I have 3 girls - my first two were both potty trained by a month after their 2nd birthday. But my third one was not as easy. But one day when she was about 2 1/2 it just clicked and she starting going potty on the potty. She just had to do it own her own terms. Some kids can be brived with candy and sticker charts - but if they are not mentally ready, it will be a lot harder on you and them. Good Luck and Merry Christmas

With my two girls I found that running water in the sink or tub while they sat on the potty chair helped a lot. Have her sit on the potty several times a day especially after meals, not immediately after-wards but fairly soon(15-20 min). Also read to her or give her something to play with while sitting there, anything to encourage her to sit longer especially when she acts like she needs to poop! Take her to the bathroom with you when you use it, sit her on her chair & explain what you are doing.
But most importantly, Be Patient!! Some times potty training takes quite awhile but don't give up. Praise her alot when she uses it but don't get mad when she doesn't. I hope this helps & best of luck to both of you!
Merry Christmas!!

I have 2 children. I would ask them if they need to potty, if they said no, I would start a timer-for about 1-2 minutes-and tell them that when the bell rings on the timer they have to potty. They would agree, then when the bell rings they would run to the bathroom and go potty. Then reinforce with positive prizes, hugs, and kisses.
As they got older and began to know better, if they pottied in their pants I would tell them to go get me a toy from their toybox. I would put it up, and if they pottied on their own in the bathroom they could have the toy back.
Good luck and just be patient!!

Get her one of those little training potties. And whenever you go in the car for a long trip with her, bring it in the car with you. Praise her when she does it right, so that she will want to do it more.

Is she showing interest in using the potty? If so, the best advice I can give is to take the diapers/pull ups away. Be consistant in taking her to the potty. You may have to clean up pee pee every once in a while, but it will be worth it.

wouldn't we all like to know the secrets to potty training... for my son, i made him sit around without a diaper and asked him to try to go potty every 30 minutes or so and stressed the fact that oif he doesn't go potty, his pee will get on the floor and i'll be mad...
he ended up pooping all over the floor and it was one of my least favorite things i've ever done buuuuut, he didn't ever do it again and it was super easy after that.

Try a sticker chart. Let her pick out the stickers and then give her one to put on the chart when she goes. Don't punish her for not going on the potty, Positive Reinforcement works the best!

Umm really different kids learn at different rates. Just start using the diapers a little less. But only time can tell. Get her in the habit of going to the bathroom to use it, rather than depending on the diaper. The earlier you start the quicker and easier it will be for her to learn.

I haven't reached this stage with my son, since he's only 3 months, but my grandmother gave me a suggestion back when my little sister was potty-training.
When my Aunt was potty-training my grandmother took her out shopping and allowed her to chose her own panties. She'd allow her to wear one pair a day, and if they got soiled she'd go back to a diaper. Dinah loved her panties so much she didn't want to soil them, and didn't want to go back to the diaper, so she learned to use the potty.
Hope this helps. ~Ashley
