Matt chose the basic "No Frills" Hot Dog with cheese, lettuce, pickles, & onions and the large fries applesauce ($2.30).

Pat chose the chili dog with ketchup & mustard, lettuce, & pickles and the small fries ($2.85) ? that's the highest priced combo he'd be able to order but he's be getting over $2 in change.

Unless Pat paid for both his & Matt's in which case he probably ordered a basic "no frills" hot dog with lettuce & pickles and the large fries applesauce ($1.95 making the total for both $4.80). He would receive $.20 back which is less than $2.

I think that Matt got a hot dog with cheese, lettuce, pickles, and onion and applesauce.

Pat got a chili dog with lettuce and pickes and onion rings.

It's kind of confusing because I guess the chili, ketchup, and mustard don't count as toppings and I think there's a price missing from the side dish. I'm thinking "large fries applesauce" is two separate sides.

Well........I figured out Matt's order, but I can't get Pat's.
Matt got a regular hot day with cheese, lettuce, pickles, and onions and a large fry with applesauce. But that doesn't make sense that the large fry with applesauce costs less than a small fry. Matt's grand total was $2.30. And nothing adds up to $3 so that Pat recieves less than $2 back in change. Not with the clues that you gave anyway, so I'm stumped there.

Pat had a chili dog with lettuce and pickles. Small fries side.

Matt had a hot dog with pickles, mustard, cheese, onions. Applesauce side.

Right, wrong, close?
