If they die, you probably would be tried as an adult.

It would depend upon a few things:

1) How old is the perpetrator?
2) How badly was the victim beat up?
3) Were there any mitigating circumstances?
4) Were there priors?
5) What state do you live in and how full is the JV system?

You could be charged anything from battery all the way up to attempted murder. If the District Attorney has a good case and wants to make an example of you, you'll be charged as an adult.

Yes!! In today's age a minors do not have the same protection as they did in the past. Just because you are underage do not think that you will just be patted on the head and told to learn how to play nice. There are some felony offenses that no matter how old you are 12 or 22 YOU will be treated as an adult and GO TO Prison. And I am sure that a premeditated (that means you took time and planned your attack) assault will get you treated as an ADULT!!!! And one day in prison is a day too long for me. How about you ?

It wouldn't matter if they were a minor. 9 out of 10 times they would be charged as an adult. That would probably mean a long time and even longer if the person dies or is permanently injured.

Unless that someone was assaulting your mother ,
Not long enough , maybe 20 years but if we're lucky the "big boys" would off you soon after entering the facility anyways .
Unless you got a cute butt & they keep you for house bitchh .

One of my best friends in high school was killed this way - beat severely to the head, and the fools who did it to him were put in jail. One is still serving - the other, ironically died of a brain aneurysm 1 year to the day of murdering my friend - if that is not justice for you, I don't know what to tell you.

I think this depends on the reason and the Judge. If was real bad and the person was injured for life it could be along time in youth
correction facility worse.

Depends on how old you are and how badley they were hurt. You can get a slap on the wrist , but your parents can get sued civily for a lot of money and I can bet they would not be happy.

it depends on how old of a minor you are. if you're close to 18 years old, they will let you sit until you're old enough to go to prison, because that's attempted murder.
