If he could put a stop to war, he's had plenty of opportunities to do so -- opportunities which he seems to have missed.

God has allowed man to rule themselves as they wanted. If they want to fight and kill each other, that is their choice.
He will step in at his appointed time and there will be a war to end all wars. In fact at Matt 24:22 it says "unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short."
It funny how people are, they do what they want without regard to what God says on the matter, and when it blows up in their faces, they blame God or say he doesn't exist, because he doesn't fix it.

If the God of Abraham exists, he's probably running a massive experiment to see where we would end up. Then he'd probably implode the Universe again and start from scratch, with a bit of tweaking here and there. Maybe he's done that many times already!
More plausible to me is that God is an Illusion.

Yes, God could put the brakes on war, but He does what He does for a reason. We may NOT understand His reason, we just have to live with it, and keep the faith.

Yes, he will.
"He is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth.
The bow he breaks apart and does cut the spear in pieces;
The wagons he burns in the fire." -- Psalm 46:9.
His true followers have already stopped learning and practicing war:
"And he will certainly render judgment among many peoples, and set matters straight respecting mighty nations far away. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. They will not lift up sword, nation against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.” (Micah 4:3)

Didn't he call for war quite a few times in the Old Testament. Obviously he uses it for his own gain.
I hear he as some big operation planned called "Judgement Day" or "End of Days" or something like that......
No "Armageddon" That's it.....

He can, anything is possible with God. But he gave us free will, so we can kill and have war if we want.

He didn't start any wars...we did. And yes he will some day...but only when we take it too far and get carried away with the killing. (that's only my view of this though)
