it is a spanish recipe... does that mean that i should just leave the rice uncooked before using the other ingredients or should i boil the rice for a little while first?

Uncooked means exactly that - raw rice. The recipe probably has a lot of liquid and a longer cooking time. Trust the recipe and do not open the lid often or you will lose the cooking steam which will be part of the liquid to cook the rice properly.

if it calls for it to be uncooked just leave it the way it comes out of the box. There are lots of recipes that are calling for the rice to be uncooked, it adds a better texture to the finished dish

Follow the recipe directions. Do Not cook it, add it when recipe calls for it, UNCOOKED. It will cook with the other ingredients.

nope it's uncooked rice, whatever ur making cookes the rice when it cookes everything else.. don't precook the rice at all... it will cause whatever ur making to become too stratchy and it will be gross... so just make sure u used the uncooked rice

dont cook the rice. your recipe says no, and your rice will cook in whatever your putting it in. just needs to be wet enough!
