I agree with many of the other answers, China Airlines and Eva Airways are based in Taipei and I know from personal experience that they do fly non-stop to Taipei. Cathay Pacific will have a stopover in Hong Kong, Singapore may fly to Taipei directly, but you may have to travel to Singapore first. China and Eva are usually cheaper than Cathay or Singapore, but sometimes Cathay Pacific or Singapore may be cheaper. I would check one of the sites that compares airfares from many different carriers, as you never know who might be the cheapest. for instance, I just booked a flight from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City and Air France was by far the cheapest. Many European carriers have flights that continue on from their main destinations and discount airfares just to fill up the less popular segment of the flight, I also booked a flight to Singapore from BKK, and instead of the obvious airlines like Singapore or Thai, Cathay Pacific was about
3 or 4 thousand baht cheaper although they weren't one of the home based carriers to the cities I was traveling to or from. I would check through one of Kayak, Orbitz, Travelocity type of sites and they have good comparisons. You can also check the Bangkok Post classified in the tours and travel section where they list many discounted fares from many different airlines and you may get a great fare from an airline that you might never expected to gone one from . Good Luck!

I think you should know which is airline have flight from Taipei to
Bkk. But for the cheapest one, you need to compare the price in each airline.
What I do is go to shop around each airline?
Like Eva air, Thai Airway, Cathay Pacific Air, and Singapore Air web site.
For the Hotel, Some website like Thai Airway, or Cathay Pacific Air have package price that including flight and hotel.
Enjoy your trip

There are a number of carriers serving BKK from TPE. China and EVA Air are two Taiwan based airlines and if you are in Taiwan may get a more favorable fare than using another carrier. I personally use EVA Air and have no qualms in recommending it for its impeccable service not to mention great facilities in TPE. As for budget hotels, which city, BKK or TPE??? I cannot say for Taipei but Bangkok has a great many hotels in varying prices from $10USD per night and up to several $100s of dollars.

CHina Air, Eva Air and Thai Air all have direct flights between TPE & BKK. Of these, China Air is usually the least expensive.
There are many travel agents in Taipei that advertise low fares to Bangkok. You usually must fly on weekdays to qualify for these discounts. Check the Taipei Times for travel agent ads.

Try Air Asia, they fly from Stansted to Bangkok. A kit deal isn't always less expensive. Recommend you evaluate kit offers with shopping your air and doing you accommodation individually. Many instances you'll get a bigger deal that method on the grounds that kit offers are priced out months upfront and are not situated on sale fare tickets ordinarily. Have a quality time in Thailand.
