I am holding a special interest auto auction and show next year and am trying to see how much interest there is in this event and the muscle car and collector vehicle community. The event will be on the east coast how many would be interested in participating, how far would you travel and what vehicles and services would you want us to provide?

There are several collector car auctions held every year in the USA. Depending on which State you are in, you must comply with DMV and Auctioneer licensing regulations. CHECK THESE OUT BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE! Then you can start advertising for consignors and buyers. Direct mail is the best way to contact prospective buyers/sellers. You will need to include experienced title clerks as well as check-in staff for your office help. Make sure your Auctioneers/ring men are familiar with collector cars. There are about a million other things to consider, but this is a start. By the way, plan on spending around $10,000 (minimum) to $20,000 (average) in expense to put on a quailty show.
