why ask when no matter what anyone says you're still going to be set in your opinion? why do you post things with the purpose of making people angry? what good does that do?

I guess God should answer your question, not me.... But.. since you asked.... I will give you my opinion...Just remember, it's only my opinion
What if God, just like any other creator.....has first done a few essays before completing His work, and than erased the mistakes?
Or .. what if both creationists and evolutionists are right... Maybe God realized that in order to create a perfect world you have to make an adaptable world..... So He made plants and animals that would adapt and change according to the changes of the environment around them.....Anyway, if you'll read the Bible, you'll see that, just like in the evolutionist theory, in the creationist theory, the man was also the last to appear on this planet.....God made first the plants, than the fish, and than the more evolved animals, and in the end He create Adam and Eve ...... Maybe the Bible is a story that is meant to explain evolution to the less evolved people who lived like 6000 years ago.. or so.
Even if evolution is true, and even if it isn't , I still believe that everything started from God. How He created Earth and the human being - I don't know... cause the truth is.. nobody has all the answers (except God), but I do know that He did.

Just because you say something is a fact, does not make it so. And this fact bank you speak of is also imaginary. Your language is very imprecise, and I sense any attempt at rational discourse will be fruitless. After learning the difference between fact and assumption, come try again. Woh wiseduck! I must call you out for such a blatant use of a logical fallacy. That wasn't even close to being sly my friend. Edit: This is getting bad. Do I really need to list them? First off: Ad hominem/appeal to ridicule/poisoning the well Second: Here is your main syllogism. Creationists are conspiracy theorists. Moon landing conspiracy theorists are wrong. Creationists are wrong. It's called affirming the consequent and it is a blatant logical fallacy. That may not have been your intent, as indicated by your last statement which changes your syllogism to this: Creationists are conspiracy theorists. Conspiracy theorists are unreasonable. Creationists are unreasonable. The form is good, but it doesn't make it true. The reason why is another logical fallacy called the straw man argument. Our argument is not that scientists are all lying. Our argument is that scientists are operating to the best of their ability from a faulty set of assumptions that completely change the interpretation of data. I'm fine with disagreeing with people, but you have to follow the rules, otherwise we never get anywhere. And notice that when I disagree with people, I don't thumb them down. But you guys can't read this anyways. I'm hidden because you gave me a low rating prematurely. Thanks a lot.

Where'd you get that figure?
That seems pretty high to me.
But even if it were true, why blame God for it?
I find it funny that things like hurricanes are referred to (rightfully) as natural phenomena and then when disaster hits people want to know where God was.
Things happen and cause the death of creatures.
Period.
More importantly how many ethnic people groups have been wiped off the face of the Earth (I'm thinking Caribbean Indians for starters)?
This was done through by men who came to conquer new lands not God. And while God could have stopped them in a supernatural way, He allows us to keep doing stupid things so that we will be without excuse on the day of judgement.
No one will be able to say they're good enough to enter Heaven.
There's only one way in; through Jesus.
You either accept Him on this side of eternity or you experience the wrath of God on the other.
Hope this helps.

At least 10 species a year go extinct naturally even without the interference of mankind (some biologists estimate it at 15 a year) and at any given time there are about 4 million species on the planet so we're actually talking about 99.99% of all species which have existed are now extinct, which nails "intelligent design" stone dead.

I am not a creationist however, everything and every species has a life cycle (be it 100 years or 1000.000), it serves it's purposes and dies or disappears.
Playing the devil's advocate I would say that life was created in it's simplest form and was left to evolve from there...

Who told you that 99% of all species that ever existed on earth are now extinct?
You seem to have a ridiculous and unwarranted faith in man. How much faith would it require for you to believe in God, who is real; then the men you now believe in, whom will pass away with nothing to show for their fruitless efforts?

99% ??? Where did that number come from.
Animals can become extinct for various reasons including climate change, man-made or natural, natural disasters, etc.
That in itself does not "prove" that there is no God and evolution is correct.

C'mon. Really. Death is death. It's our fault. It sucks. Creation is not perfect anymore. If you want to be somewhere where there is no death, you know what to do.
Even if you don't like the way God runs things, if He's real, what are you gonna do about it?
