Maybe they have different sects in Jehova's witness. Two of them came to my sister in laws house and said that there is a new prophet. He lives in America and is 93 years old.

Although there are not different sects in Jehovah's organization, it is possible that some who have left, may have formed their own group and wish to give Jehovah's Witnesses a bad name. Thus saying such rediculous things.
As has been posted both pleasantly and defensively, we do not believe there is a new prophet. I appreciate that you came here to find out for sure, instead of just believing what the people said.

Since JWs have never had a prophet, there can't be a new one. Everything they have done is based on the Bible and thousands of people reading it daily, making note of things otherwise overlooked. That is how their beliefs developed, by the input of their members, not through prophesy. Other religions rely on prophets.
This sounds more like a Mormon or one of the many branches of it. JWs have not had any group branch off as that requires some individual claiming to be an authority, which JWs don't. All JWs are authorities on God Word.
Did they say they were a Jehovah's Witness, or did they just make reference to Jehovah as the name of God? She may have presumed it meant they were JWs. There are other, less well known groups that use the name, but have no connection to the JWs.

Despite the lying slander of their more deceitful critics, Jehovah's Witnesses have always humbly taught that they are *NOT* infallible and *NOT* inspired by God. They do not "prophesy", and in modern times they never have.
For more than 125 years, Jehovah's Witnesses have consistently rejected the definition of "prophet" insisted upon by this so-called "questioner" and other anti-Witness activists.
Jehovah's Witnesses apply the term "prophet" only in a very limited sense to themselves as a religion, not to individuals. The Scriptures indicate that whenever Jehovah purposes to execute judgment upon a people, he always makes arrangment for a 'prophet's work' as a warning. Their self-description as a "prophet" (in this limited sense) does not indicate special inspired knowledge or foreknowledge, but their willingness to perform Christ's assigned warning work in our day leading up to Armageddon.
What group is working harder than Jehovah's Witnesses to preach God's message globally (as Noah did before the Deluge)?
(Amos 3:7) For the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will not do a thing unless he has revealed his confidential matter to his servants the prophets.
(2 Peter 2:5) Noah, a preacher of righteousness...
(Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

Um, possibly you will desire to've listened to your pal. i'm a Christian, one in each of Jehovah's Witnesses. As Christians we don't have fun pagan activities, mutually with Easter. As you probable be attentive to, or would desire to be attentive to if she somewhat is your pal, Witnesses have events/celebrations, supply/acquire presents, and so on. without meaning to wrap it around Paganism. Having ideals that don't shop on with yours by ability of no ability constitutes being ideas Washed. Asking somebody a query, then insulting her and not eager to pay attention, does although sound extra or much less, like a foul pal.

Its funny, All these lies and posts make me realize that most people hate Witnesses of Jehovah.
All the posts are against them. It seem most so called christians from other religions also hate Jehovah's witnesses.
Jesus did say that his true follower will be persecuted and people will tell horrible lies about them.
Makes you wonder.....

ONCE AGAIN, FALSE INFORMATION SPREAD ABOUT JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES. NO, THERE IS NO NEW PROPHET. JESUS IS OUR KING AND REDEEMER AND HIS FATHER JEHOVAH IS ALMIGHTY GOD. WE HAVE NOT CHANGED, OUR BELIEFS ARE CONSTANT. THE LIGHT DOES GET BRIGHTER IN THAT WE UNDERSTAND BETTER AS TIME GOES ON HOW TO PLEASE OUR HEAVENLY FATHER, BUT NEVER DO WE DEVIATE FROM THE BIBLE. WHEN WILL YOU PEOPLE LEARN THAT JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES ARE GOOD PEOPLE WHO HAVE A GREAT LOVE FOR ALL HUMANKIND, WE ARE NOT TRYING TO CONVERT THE WORLD, JUST EDUCATE THEM.
