If you buy the kind without added sugars, like Adam's Old Fashioned, then yes. Peanut butter does have some natural sugar, but it is released so slowly with the protein and fat content, that it won't mess up your sugar levels at all. Peanut butter can satisfy a sweet craving, and it satisfies longer. It's what my mom used to call "rib-sticking food". Same with oatmeal, it satisfies for a long period of time beacuse of the protein content. It "sticks" with you.

Yes, but calories are calories and peanut butter is very high.
