They became teachers because they couldn't qualify as geophysicists. BTW, I had a male teacher for grade 12 geography, horrible teacher.

thats not true. its for everyone.
n women......mmm, there's this saying "women can't read maps". so by that geography is certainly not for women.
but i think it all depends on the interest n its got nothin to do wit men or women.
my geography teacher was a male. n he was too good. i had female geography teachers too

At our high school, all of the geography teachers are men. Most of them are coaches as well.

maybe women in your area are somehow smarter in this subject than men are in that specific subject. that's kinda unusual because in my area that's a male dominated subject.
it's the same in kindergarten and elementary school. there is almost no male teacher un kindergarten and elementary schools.

geography is for any gender its a class that is required by several degrees it's prolly just a coincidence that they are all women at your school.
