Hiya Michael....someone else mentioned going on ellisisland.org...thats a good idea, if she emigrated to America. If she was born here, of immigrant parents, then look for the parents name. There are records, called ship manifest, which give the city/town of origin of the passenger. You can also try Ancestry.com...It took me four years to finally track down my grandfather, it was hard work, long hours, and didn't tell me much. Without a professional, sometimes its nearly impossible. You can also search an online resource that gives listed names still occuring in major towns/cities of northern italy....is on the link bewlo, but won't help if you don't know where she originated in teh first place.
