"He's just a good publicist; that's all, something good happens it's His Will, something bad happens it's Satan's fault." (These aren't the exact words, but close enough)

I think that everything is the hand of God. Not just the good things, but the bad things too. God never promised that if we believe in Him then we would have a perfect life. Are you familiar with the book of Job? The book of Job tells us of a man named Job, who God loved very very much, but he certainly did not have a perfect life! He got everything he owned taken away from him. BUT, HE NEVER LOST HIS FAITH. I do not have all the answers, no one does. So I cannot say specifically why God allows babies to be born deformed, or why He allows people to starve. But, what I believe, is that God has a purpose for each and every one of our lives. If a child is born with a deformity, it is for a purpose, that child may have been born to impact someone elses life, and God will watch over the little ones, and the little ones and the feeble minded will most definitely go to heaven, when God calls them.
P.S. I would like to add that the two answerers above me have a very good viewpoint.

Why would God get the blame for that?? Is He the one raping people? NO. We humans/people are. God gave us a free will because He loves us and He created us for fellowship not to be robot worshipers. God is a good God. In the garden of Eden, when man sinned, did God eat the fruit? No Eve did then Adam. You talk about starvation and disease and murder as though they just randomly happen but no, these things are always traced back to a human sin which caused this suffering. When Jesus Christ died on the cross He DID TAKE THE BLAME!!! All the blame that should be OURS! He died and took the punishment that should be ours!!! He was beaten until He could not be recognized as a human. Then He died the most painful way...on a cross with nails in His hands and feet!!!!! So the answer to your question is no He doesn't deserve the blame for the bad things but He still took it! I don't know about you but an Infinite God who would do that for me, there is no question in who I am going to follow!!! Jesus.

There is seen and unseen. We should give praise to Him in every circumstance. We are here to help these hungry people, we are here to protect our neighbors form murderers, we are here to help each other out when one has delivered deformed baby. We see good things, but we do not know when your child should have been born without a hand, and God made hand grow in mother's womb, we do not know when you were supposed to get hit by a drunken driver, but God planted the idea in your mind and you waited a little bit longer before you left home.
I do not know all things, and why God allows so much suffering. But what I do not know does not interfere with what I know, and I know that my God is on the job! Why blame God, He made you totally capable to do good. We are here to help each other out and together we are stronger and better. Every call is not our call. But you can chose to do something to glorify our God's name.
And about George Bush. It is so easy to blame him but tell me what you would have done if given the power he had,the information he had?? He is damned if he do and he is damned if he does not..give him a change!! If you do not give a change to God, then what change George Bush has to make right things that has been done wrong by others. George is just a man, and he is very honorable man in my books.
Ask form yourself, what good have you done for the common good? One thing I know, I do not blame God for the wrong doings of others. We all have a free will, and that is powerful. Do you use it for good or bad?

Well, if your idea of "God' is that "God" is all good, then the bad has to come from somewhere else.
There are a few possibilities for explaining this:
1. there is an evil twin to "God" who is bad, and causes bad things
2. "God" is all-good, BUT that goodness includes punishing you for your own good. You deserve it, and that all-good all-loving "God" is just disciplining you for bad behavior (defined as not doing what "God" wants, no matter how irrational or arbitrary his rules are). This is expanded to be an umbrella explanation for everything bad - not only is there personal punishment for misbehaving, but there is large-scale punishment for misbehaving, kind of like "God" is a school teacher who punishes the whole class for the actions of one student; this is the justification for people turning on others and trying to control their behavior; the source of the "God hates Fags" people, and the inane claims that America got attacked because we as a people have put up with "sinfulness"
3. The "bad" stuff happens because that's the consequence of your own actions and choices, and there's no outside agency directly involved - it's just the way that things happen, like when you let go of something, it doesn't fly off into space. Bad things are not a punishment, and good things are not a reward; everything is simply a consequence to what we do or choose not to do. (this is, as we all know, the least popular choice)
4. That's just the way things have happened This isn't satisfying to our desire to control our environment.

nicely God does get the blame. The devil is provided in and tries to scouse borrow the practice yet whilst God created the devil he might additionally wreck him. He chooses to no longer through fact without the awful mindless cruelty as you're saying, you does not understand what good is. think of approximately it. If it replaced into consistently daylight hours, how ought to you already know what nightime is? Technically in case you have faith in God you may blame him for each little thing, a splash a cop out in case you inquire from me.

God didn't create starvation or disease and murder and everything that is evil. Don't forget that when God made the earth he was pleased and said it was very good. Then The Fall happened. Adam disobeyed God and left us and the earth with a curse. The world has been bad ever since. The Garden of Eden was perfect. God is perfect. God is love and God is good. In no way shape or form is he responsible for this evil. No evil exists in him. The only way we can all make a difference is if we give our lives to God so he can use us to make the maximum good for the world. God works in individuals. He first wants us to love him then he can use us dramatically. He hates to see all this evil and he is getting the blame for it!!! The devil is responsible for all the crap. He was jeleous of God in the beginning and has been causing trouble ever since. i cant wait for the day he is destroyed once and for all!

Your answer lies in the biblical teachings. God is great God is Good and men are bad. When in all truth the religion teaches that God can do no wrong so that it can make people stumble blindly through life, blinded by a belief.
Man creates starvation, Man gets that paycheck, Man rapes and murders and Man should take the responsibility. Man should stand up and quit hiding behind the words of a religion and cure the world of it's problems.
I am a Priest. I teach faith to awaken it inside people. I teach that faith begins inside of man. Not in the Goddess but in man. Faith can both build and destroy.
I do not allow My covenant to hide behind their beliefs. I refuse to allow them to give credit where it is not due. Man builds, Man destroys and The Goddess has Nothing to do with it! She does not get you the better paycheck.Your work and your faith in yourselves get that better paycheck. She does not cause starvation, man's apathy causes starvation. We are here to Help the Goddess and be the Custodians of Mother Earth. She gave us this life so that we can help, not harm.
And for those that follow the One God. And use him as a protective shield when they Hate and Judge and turn blind eyes to others that need. I say you shame yourselves and your god and destroy yourselves in the eyes of others.
Your God Made you in his image and you definitely show poorly on him.
When you live in the house of evil, you become evil.
Think about it.

All bad (Evil) is from man. Starvation, stems from many things. I think greed is one of them. Humans spend millions of dollars just on one space suit people wear to the moon and BILLIONS of dollars getting there while people on this planet lay in the streets dying from hunger. Imagine what that money could do if used honestly and correctly.
Diseases come from all of the crap we have done to this earth. All of the horrible things we put into and do to our bodies.
God allows these things because we have free will. People get angry and say God is cruel to allow all of this. But to not allow it would mean we wouldn't have free will and we would all be nothing more than robots. So you see while we don't understand His plan Christians trust in it.

he made everything- all the good things and even the bad, without the bad, there'll be no balance. Everything has been written already and nothing is left to coincidence (not even the sins that youve done and will do) according to His ultimate goal and everything will take place at its proper time. (sin and morality is defined by the society where we belong, so its relative) But mankind, having limited understanding and are greedy in nature, of course will only thank Him for the things that gives them pleasure, such as promotion at work...and curses Him when they experience pain.
